Does Meat Contain Starch?

"...Previously, experts had wondered if meat in the diet was the answer.

Brain food

However, Dr Nathaniel Dominy and colleagues argue this is improbable.

"Even when you look at modern human hunter-gatherers, meat is a relatively small fraction of their diet.

"To think that, two to four million years ago, a small-brained, awkwardly bipedal animal could efficiently acquire meat, even by scavenging, just doesn't make a whole lot of sense."..."

Jim's Golden Sea Bream

Well Jim, Captain Cook got it wrong! This is NOT a Snapper, but a Sea Bream!

(Jim's holding a Golden Sea Bream Pagrus auratus, caught around Moreton Bay, off Brisbane. Apparently the northern limit for this particular species.)

August Progress....

This month I started high repetition exercises. I am using different Yoga poses, but with high rep positions.

I am also trying out some of the other high impact, low rep positions as well.

Some of the effects are intense, even if I am feeling OK, but I can sense the higher impact on the muscles. I've also been able to add up to 3 sets to the current number of sets (6 each) possible.

Earth, Wind and Fire - September

One of my favourite sounds!

Vedic Math Classes

I actually ran the class on the 12th of August, 2007. Had about 20 students. I showed the digit sum technique for checking additions and "all of nine, last of ten" formula. One technique that I showed is from this youtube video. Try it!
